“I would like for you to be aware of the service we received from Accutest of West Michigan L.L.C. on June 30, 2010. The Owner Michael Chichester arrived at our home at approximately 11:30 am. He was very courteous and explained who he was and what he was there to do. I had phoned their office sometime the week before as I was prompted by a letter I received by the City of Grand Rapids Water Department that I was to have a Back-Flow Test performed on our property prior to July 19.
Upon my initial contact with Accutest, I was impressed with the customer service I received over the phone. The receptionist was very kind, courteous and knowledgeable of the service I was in need of although it was foreign to me. She was upfront with the fees and what the service would entail. She informed me of the availability of which they would be able to service our address which I thought was extremely prompt.
This year we choose not to have our underground sprinkling systems turned on. Although we did not turn them on this test was still required however an extra step performed by the technician was necessary. Mr. Chichester needed to come inside our home to shut off the water valve to the outdoor water supply to perform the test if I understand correctly. He did not charge extra for this additional service. Once the test was complete, he once again came to the door, came inside again to shut off the water supply to outside and drained the water that was inside the pipes. Again no extra charge for that additional service. Next he notified me that the test was complete and supplied me with a bill of service and notice that our system passed the test. The cost was exactly what was quoted to me on the phone with the receptionist the prior week. There was no hidden cost and it was very straight forward.
I had shopped around to find the best price in town to perform this service. Accutest was by far the cheapest business to obtain to complete this. I would certainly use this business in the future if need be and I would also recommend them to family, friends, and co-workers that would be in need of their service., I had to let you know of this business and their top notch service I received from them. They are a new business that we have worked with and felt it was important to let the BBB know.
